ABOUT US

Siesta B&B is run by Rex & Cato Duke who have had over 15 years experience in the hospitality industry and happily cater for guests from all walks of life.

Rex is a highly experienced nature & history guide and is happy to assist guests with information they may require. Battlefield tours can be arranged with him as he specialises in the 1879 Zulu War, with special emphasis on the Battles of Ulundi, Hlobane, Kambula and Intombi Drift.

Cato has been running Umuzi Bush Camp in Ulundi for over 15 years and happily caters for group functions large and small. Her passion is for gardening and she specializes in Clivia and has an active breeding program trying to improve on those Clivia with green flowers.

Whatever spare time she has is spent knitting, sewing and spinning and weaving.
